Lumina Metals has signed a letter of intent with KGHM in order to establish a framework for talks on possible strategic directions of cooperation and potential supplies of copper concentrate from the Nowa Sól project to KGHM's copper smelters, Lumina said in a press release.

According to the document, Lumina and KGHM are to cooperate on technical and commercial issues related to potential supplies of concentrate, including delivery volumes, product quality and metallurgical compliance, as well as logistics and transport.

In April 2025, Lumina Metals received the C1 category for the Nowa Sól copper ore deposit (Lubusz Voivodeship) and began applying for a mining concession to build one of the largest copper mines in Europe. The company continues exploration work for two other deposits: Sulmierzyce and Mozów. (PAP Biznes)
