WARSAW, AUGUST 3, 2026 – Lumina Metals Corp. (“Lumina” or the “Company”) (TSX: LMCU; GPW: LMCU) is pleased to provide an update on its 2026 drilling program at the Nowa Sól, Sulmierzyce and Mozów projects in western Poland. At the Nowa Sól project (“Nowa Sól”), drilling is underway in support of the Company's Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”) and Environmental Impact Assessment (“EIA”), alongside exploration drilling across all three projects.
“Our drilling program is designed to de-risk the Nowa Sól project and support its development through the Pre-Feasibility Study and Environmental Impact Assessment process,” said Jordan Pandoff, President of Lumina Metals. “Each subsequent drill hole allows us to better understand the deposit and provides critical engineering and environmental data necessary to optimally plan the future construction of the mine.”
In parallel with de-risking the Nowa Sól project, we are focused on expanding the resource base at the Sulmierzyce and Mozów projects. We intend to provide further updates on drilling progress and analytical results later this year.
2026 Field Work Program
Nowa Sól
The Company has planned approximately 8,200 meters of drilling in four holes. Two drill rigs are currently active. Drilling commenced in May, and the first hole has been completed to its target depth of 1,900 meters. Although laboratory assay results are not yet available, preliminary X-ray fluorescence (“XRF”) measurements correspond to the characteristics of the mineralization occurring in this area.
The drilling operations are conducted by a Polish contractor with extensive experience in drilling Kupferschiefer-type copper-shale deposits. Since commencing its exploration activities in Poland in 2011, Lumina has cooperated with Polish contractors and technical service providers. Engaging local Polish entities remains a key element of the Company’s long-term investment strategy, while simultaneously maximizing economic benefits for the region.
Hole C42 recently completed at the Nowa Sól project

Sulmierzyce
The Sulmierzyce North concession is the second greenfield project in the Company’s portfolio. The project is located approximately 125 km east of the Nowa Sól project. To date, within the 169 km[^2] exploration concession, the Company has drilled five holes and verified the results of seven historic holes drilled in this area. In April 2026, Lumina published its maiden NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource estimate of 308 million tonnes of ore grading 2.09% copper and 31.85 g/t silver, containing 6.4 million tonnes of copper and 315 million ounces of silver. The objective of the 2026 drilling program is to expand the recently defined resource base by drilling one additional hole and analyzing data from several historic oil and gas wells drilled in the region.
Mozów
The Mozów concession covers an area of 93 km[^2], located 35 km northwest of Nowa Sól. It lies within the same regional copper-silver mineralization belt as the Nowa Sól project, providing the Company with additional long-term resource growth potential. The concession area has been explored to date with six drill holes, two of which were drilled by Lumina. All holes intercepted mineralization with copper grades ranging from 1.10% to 3.86% and silver from 8 to 52 g/t, confirming the potential to increase the resource base. Over the next year, the Company plans to drill an additional hole to expand the project's resource potential.
Adrian Karolko Appointed as New VP Exploration of Lumina Metals
Adrian Karolko, P.Geo., has been appointed Vice President, Exploration, succeeding Leo Hathaway. Adrian Karolko is a geologist with over 18 years of international experience in the exploration of base metals, gold, uranium and other metals in Europe, Africa and the Americas. He has held key technical roles in major mineral exploration projects – most recently as Vice President, Exploration for Midnight Sun Mining in Zambia, and previously as Exploration Manager in Poland for the Company and in Ecuador for Lumina Gold at the Cangrejos project. He is a registered Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
“We are delighted to welcome Adrian Karolko to our team at Lumina Metals. At the same time, we thank Leo Hathaway for the crucial role he has played since 2011 in our exploration work, leading to the grassroots discovery of some of the world's largest copper and silver deposits at Nowa Sól, Sulmierzyce and Mozów. Adrian, who succeeds him in this role, brings extensive international experience in copper exploration and development, combined with technical expertise in delivering pre-feasibility studies for such projects, making him an invaluable addition to our management team,” said Jordan Pandoff, President of Lumina Metals.
